Welcome to Colorado Parks & Wildlife’s Big Game Harvest Survey. Each year, Parks and Wildlife surveys hunters to establish estimates of harvest and hunter participation for a variety of wildlife. The data obtained from these surveys is used to monitor populations of big game, to assist with the season establishment process, and to study trends in hunter participation. Many of these surveys have been in existence for more than 50 years. Hunters are randomly selected to participate in a survey. Hunters that were not selected to be contacted by the survey cannot opt into a survey.
For best results and fastest service, please have the following available: 1) the CID number from your Colorado hunting license, 2) information about the Game Management Unit or units where you hunted, and 3) the duration including dates you hunted in each Game Management Unit.
